Application of RTO incinerator in waste gas treatment of pharmaceutical enterprises

       RTO incinerator, that is, regenerative incinerator, USES ceramic heat accumulator to store heat generated by waste gas incineration, and effectively USES the heat generated by incineration, so as to achieve the purpose of economic incineration.The incineration process temperature is controlled at 750 ~ 850℃.The inlet temperature of waste gas is usually room temperature, and after RTO incineration and reheat storage, the temperature reaches about 100℃, that is, the temperature rise of waste gas is about 80 ~ 90℃.The oxygen content in the incinerator is between 18% and 20%, and the oxygen content is relatively high. Therefore, the LEL concentration of waste gas entering the RTO should be strictly controlled and controlled below 25% of the lower limit of explosion.The incineration efficiency is about 95%, and the operating cost and investment cost of VAR incinerator are lower.
       1. Requirements for waste gas entering RTO incinerator
(1) it is mainly applicable to waste gas incineration with large air volume and low concentration;
(2) the acidic pollutants were pretreated to remove most inorganic acids;
(3) the concentration of VOC in the exhaust gas should not be too high, generally controlled at less than 25% of the lower limit of explosion;
(4) the waste gas must not contain obvious solid or dust, or it must be pre-dusted and filtered;
(5) it is forbidden to mix hydrogen, methane, ethylene and other dangerous waste gases.
       2. Limitations of RTO
(1) cannot deal with hazardous waste gases such as high-content hydrogen waste gas, methane waste gas, corrosive waste gas and ethylene waste gas;
(2) waste gas with LEL concentration above 25% cannot be treated. If the LEL concentration is higher than the requirement, it needs to be diluted, which will reduce the economy of incineration.
(3) the exhaust gas volume shall be discharged steadily according to the designed flow rate, and shall not be discharged in excess of the planned amount suddenly;
(4) waste liquid, waste water and solid waste cannot be treated.
